Bonnie Caslow Allan - Iyengar Tradition,
RYT 500
After teaching art to middle school students for over
25 years, Bonnie decided that it was time for a change. She loves
to paint outdoors, but all of her energy for that was going to her
students. Bonnie began taking yoga with Patti Quicksilver of
Susquehanna Yoga. She looked forward to her weekly class, and
noticed the effects Yoga was having on her entire well-being. The
more she practiced, the more she enjoyed the way it made her feel.
Her decision to teach yoga stemmed from that. She has been doing
yoga for 6 years and is finishing up the apprenticeship program.
Her desire to share her knowledge of yoga and to grow in it, informs her
classes.

Adam Baylus
Adam Baylus joins the staff at Susquehanna Yoga after
completing a three-year immersion in his own practice, highlighted by
two trips to India, one to Thailand, multiple teacher trainings in Amrit
Yoga and Kundalini Yoga, and a number of workshops and conferences,
which featured premiere teachers from a hosts of other yoga styles,
including Iyengar, Anusara, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin and Sivananda.
His practice and his teaching blend Qigong (energy cultivation) and
gentle yoga to prepare for asana practice, which then creates a
foundation for kriyas, specific sequences designed to awaken our
greatest potential. His classes provide students with the opportunity to
experience all the elements of yoga—balancing instruction with rich
meditative experience.
In 1992, Adam was introduced to yoga at the Kushi Institute in
Massachusetts, where he learned the Taoist/macrobiotic approach to
healing. During that same year, upon his return to Maryland, Adam began
practicing with the many exceptional teachers in this area—all of whom
have had a significant impact on his development as a practitioner and
as a teacher.
In addition to teaching yoga, Adam is a Maryland licensed massage
therapist, specializing in his own blend of Thai Massage, shiatsu,
reflexology, Swedish Massage, and individualized asana instruction.

Robyn Katz -
Iyengar Tradition, RYT 500
Robyn, a native of Baltimore, fell in love with yoga
16 years ago when she and three of her best friends went to the New Age
Health Spa in New York. There she took her first yoga class which,
as she put it, was a “huge life-changing experience”. Robyn

Bethesda, Maryland and Kofi Busia, certified Senior Iyengar teacher
based in Santa Cruz, California.
Robyn brings her love for yoga to each class emphasizing precision,
alignment, strength and flexibility.
Her approach to teaching is
based on the Iyengar system's belief that anyone can do yoga postures,
regardless of physical or emotional limitations. She seeks to
teach with compassion and gratitude for each student. An open
mind, a willingness to try and a sense of humor are all that you need to
bring to class. Robyn teaches beginning and intermediate levels

|
Helen Kimmel
- Iyengar Tradition, RYT 200
Helen Kimmel is a registered yoga teacher (RYT200).
Helen began a consistent practice of Iyengar style yoga in 2000,
rekindling an earlier affinity to yoga and meditation. This connection
led to the completion of the teacher training program in 2005 with Suzy

approach, Integrated Movement Therapy TM, with Molly Kenny of the

restorative techniques to let go of stress through breathing and
relaxation. Helen enjoys adapting poses to meet the needs of individuals
and seeks to have a class that is accessible to beginners and more
experienced students.
Helen is a clinical social worker with a career that focused on
developing and managing clinical care for traumatized children. She
